The team

My "team" consists of myself and 4 horses. They all have very unique personalities and teach us different things about ourselves. Boundaries, respect, self awareness are traits these wonderful animals naturally have. Horses do not judge us. They do not expect anything from us. But they can feel us...they can feel our emotions and they can mirror us. That's why they are good teachers.

Angel

The gentle giant

Angel is just a big pet. I've owned her since she was 10 months and is now 20. She's a gentle giant and just wants to please, whether that's a human or a horse. Angel loves treats and will perform tricks for one!

Miss Poppy

The boss

Miss Poppy is the head mare. She's small and feisty and knows her own mind. She's curious about everything and loves to investigate anything new that pops up in the field or arena.

Milo

The cutie

Milo is a miniature shetland and is a real cutie. He also likes to please and loves pets and cuddles. He enjoys visiting care homes and showing off his cuteness.

Tec

The special one

Tec is an ex racehorse. He was mis-sold as a perfect gentleman but he can he unpredictable. He has many quirks and needs special handling only by myself and is used only to demonstrate boundaries and positive reinforcement.

About Me!

I've loved horses since I was little. There;s just something about them! I've owned them, loaned them, competed them and most of all just cared for them.

They bring me great pleasure and more importantly they allow me to be me!

|Its not just horses I love...its all animals!

I would always bring home stray cats, lost dogs, injured hedgehogs the list was endless!

I've had numerous pets over the years and currently have 4 horses, 2 guinea pigs, a cat and dog.

Since having children I have had little time to ride and have focused on working my horses from the ground, playing games and teaching them tricks. When my kids made me buy a miniature shetland pony I decided to train him as a therapy pony and the rest is history!
